Last week we worked with sentence phrases and dependent and independent clauses. This week, we will put it all together to create some beautiful complex sentences. Here are some cool sites for your child to have some more sentence fun:

We are learning about comparing words by analogies. We talked about how analogies can compare words by how they're related: opposites/antonyms, similar/synonyms, part of, and type of.

Your child has been busy learning different writing targets each day. It is exciting to see them grow as writers as we keep adding these great tools to our writer tool kits. Keep your eyes open for some published pieces to come home. I'd love for you to write a positive comment on your child's work and give it to them to enjoy.
